Mt. Hood Community College
Daniel Lescalleet of Troutdale received a scholarship from the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium.
Lescalleet, a graduate of Reynolds High School, will attend Mt. Hood Community College.
GAAS is an annual event where the top people in the automotive aftermarket industry present their views about industry trends. The scholarships, each in the amount of $1,000, were awarded to Lescalleet and 90 other students in 2010.
Those who graduate from the program and show proof of employment as a technician in the automotive aftermarket for at least six months after graduation can receive a second matching award.
